Spring Fashion Trend?

Hey everyone! So I was flipping through a magazine and I was looking through the Spring fashion trend section and I was stopped by this one trend. I've been seeing it around lately and I'm really hoping that this doesn't actually become popular.

This hi-low trend is supposed to be "in" this spring, but I definitely don't like it. I think it can be cute on shirts when there is a slight difference between the length in the front and the back, but I seriously think this is too much.

I definitely prefer a straight hem all the way around. What do you guys think of it? Would you ever wear this trend?

How do you go clothes shopping?

Hey everyone! In this post I'm just going to talk about my method of clothes shopping. A while ago someone was saying how they always get frustrated when they go to the mall because she would see all these people walking around with bags and bags of clothes and she couldn't put together a single outfit. So, I kind of told her how I go shopping.

I can get the same way. I'll go to the mall and sometimes I will come home with absolutely nothing. And I get discouraged a lot of the time, too. But I have never been able to go to the mall and buy outfits at a time, and I don't think I ever really tried that either. But I'll just go and pick up any pieces that I like. Sometimes I'll go looking for a certain type of clothing piece, or something like that, but I'll buy separate pieces most often.

There are some outfits that I want to buy. Maybe something I got inspired by this idea and I keep picturing this perfect outfit. When I go, I'll look for parts of my outfit, but I'll never go into a store expecting to get the whole outfit at once.

If I see something that I like, and is a good price, I'll get it. I do have pieces that I haven't worn yet because I don't have anything that would go with it. But eventually I'll get something that goes with it. Right now I have about 4 pairs of tights, but I've only worn one of them once. I don't have many skirts or dresses, even though both of these are pieces that I have been wanting to add to my wardrobe. But, eventually, when I get a new, cute skirt, I'll have tights that I'll be able to wear with it, instead of waiting until Spring to wear it.

So, my advice to you is: if you frequently get frustrated because you don't find many things that work for you when you go clothes shopping, it is okay. Get what few pieces you do like. Or, if there isn't anything that you've found, it's okay. You can always go out again, at another time, to another store if you would like. Sometimes all that you need to feel as if you have a whole new wardrobe is one new piece.

My glam bag arrived!!!

Hey everyone! I have a very exciting post today, because my glam bag arrived! I received it Thursday and I walked by my dining room table and saw that there was a pink bubble wrap package sitting there. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. My sister was there urging me to open it and when I did I got pictures of pretty much every step of the way.
As soon as you open it, there is a small heart-patterned bag and two pieces of paper. One of the pieces of paper was a card about XOut. If you order, you receive a free gift. You also received a $100 gift certificate toward NuMe styling tools and hair extensions. I have to say, I am extremely impressed with this. I visited the website and most of the straighteners ran for about $150, bringing your total cost to around $50. I was expecting at least $200 or $300 dollar items.
Then you open your bag and you receive a purple note from MyGlam. On the front is just a little note from them and on the back is a list of everything that you received. You have one more piece of paper in the bag and it is for 30% off the Roll On Shimmer from NYXcosmetics.com.
Inside the bag are five different products. You have a full-sized sample of NYX's Roll on Shimmer, which can be used on teh eyes, face, or body.
There is also a sample of Freeman Facial Hydration Mask. This is in either Pineapple or Goji Berry, and I received Goji Berry. I have to say, I am pretty excited to try this one out. My face has been bothering me lately. I've been getting a bit of acne on my forehead and after I use my current facial wash, my face gets really dry. But feeling my face now, it feels kinda oily. When I was younger I had gotten a few facial masks with my sister, but I haven't used any recently. So I'm really excited to use this product, and I'm definitely hoping this one works.
In the bag, there is also this small, thin, pink bag with a code for 50% off the product, and two samples inside. I guess it is called the Premier Dead Sea Cinderella Mask, but the one product says "Instant Stretching and Revitalizing Mask" and the other is a "Biox Anti-Aging Complex Intensive Age Treatment Cream." I don't think I'll use those because I'm only 15 and I don't really think I'm getting wrinkly. :)
Next is a X Out Shine Control Oil-free Formula sample. I think this one is a full sized sample too. I'm also looking forward to trying this one, because like I said previously, my face has not been very cooperative lately and I'm hoping this works. I think when I'm done with my current acne wash stuff I'll try out a different brand.
And, last but not least, is a small box with two Ghirardelli squares inside. I definitely liked receiving the chocolate, because I love any chocolate, but Ghirardelli is amazing. I got a dark chocolate 60% cacao and a milk chocolate.
Overall, almost every product I received came with a coupon code if I ever decide to buy the product itself. I am definitely impressed with the size and quality of the items. I received a full sized acne product and a full sized shimmer. Along with choclate and a facial mask. Although I am tempted to use the $100 gift certificate, I don't think I will buy a new straightener, but if you would decide to use that, the $10 for the bag would be an absolutely amazing deal. I definitely think that this bag is worth $10 and I am very impressed with the quality. I canceled my subscription after I bought this bag, so I will not be receiving another bag. However, I am tempted to sign up for the yearly myglam bag when it becomes available.
Have any of you guys out there purchased a myglam bag? If so, what do you think about it? Or, have any of you not signed up, but you are thinking about it? Tell me below in the comment section! Thanks so much everyone!
